Megan Fox’s literary debut becomes a bestseller on Amazon even before its release.
Just yesterday, Wednesday (August 9), actress and model Megan Fox (37) had to publish a book of poetry entitled “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous” (“Pretty Boys Are Poisonous”), which will be on the market from November 7th should come. Just one day later, the debut work is already leading the bestseller list on Amazon.
Reckoning with the toxic world of men
The reason for the enormous interest in the book is probably due to the fact that it was teased by the publisher and the author as a kind of poetic reckoning with the toxic male world of Hollywood. According to Fox, in this “heartbreaking and somber collection of poetry,” Fox shows “how we fit into the mold of those we love, even when we lose ourselves in the process.”
“My body aches from the burden of their sins”
Speaking about the upcoming publication, the new best-selling author said: “These poems were written to cure the sickness that had taken hold of me because of my silence. I’ve spent my whole life keeping men’s secrets , and my body aches from the burden of their sins.”
Megan Fox became known in 2007 for her role in “Transformers”. In addition, she repeatedly made headlines with her relationships. From 2010 to 2021 she was married to “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green (50), with whom she has three sons. In 2020 she made her love for the rapper Machine Gun Kelly (33) public.
