Normally, the royals always keep their composure and do not let themselves be elicited much emotion. But Prince William and Duchess Kate can do it differently – a clip goes viral on TikTok that shows them laughing at a Harry joke.
In the past few days, a video of the British heir to the throne, Prince William, and his wife, Duchess Kate, has appeared on TikTok that inspires the network. On August 12, the account princessmiddleton_ uploaded a video to the social media platform TikTok, which quickly generated almost 900,000 views and almost 80,000 likes.
The video starts with actress Margot Robbie accepting an award on the podium at the BAFTA Awards. The video comes from 2020, just a month after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan announced their departure from the British royal family. But the joke it contained is still relevant today.
Prince William and Kate are in the audience at the British Academy Film Awards.
Although Margot Robbie did not win the award herself, she accepted it on behalf of her colleague Brad Pitt. He received the award for his role as Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Unfortunately, he was not able to accept the award for best supporting actor himself and therefore had his colleague Robbie represent him.
As Pitt’s representative, Robbie now presented his speech, which the actor had given her. “He says he’s going to call him Harry,” the actress proclaims while holding up the BAFTA award and looking at her cheat sheet. And now come: “Because he’s really excited to bring him to the States,” adds Robbie with a laugh: “His words, not mine.”
A month after Meghan shipped her “Harry” to America. The camera pans to the audience, loud laughter erupts and everyone claps. Even Prince William and Duchess Kate can’t help but laugh heartily. Kate turns to her husband as if trying to hide her wide laugh for a moment. Her brother or brother-in-law, Prince Harry, immediately moved to the United States after leaving the royal family. Kate didn’t seem too upset about it.
