Literature is one of the best door openers to a culturally respectful life. Founded in 2020, the Upper Austrian association Literaturschiff led by chairwoman Shakeh Lennert and her program manager Christian Gsöllradl-Samhaber attracted thousands of people to new cultural spaces with readings and discussion events – from public gardens to small libraries to cafés that are offering live culture for the first time. The autumn program now begins on September 1st in the Prevenhuberhaus in Weyer (7:30 p.m.). Gertrude Klemm and her book “Einzeller”, in which the writer dissects what is left of the original idea of ​​feminism. Two days later (September 3rd, 10.30 a.m.) contest Cvetka Lipus (“Leaving for Beginners”), Jana Radicevic (“zone of neutral pressure”) and the ensemble Castor in the straw bucket “Garden of Secrets” a lyrical matinee with baroque music.
