Boca de Toro Club
Boca de Toro Club is the new tapas and cocktail bar hidden in the Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires. In its intimate and elegant atmosphere, you can taste the Ron in Club, a signature cocktail that takes the bases of a White Negroni, replacing gin with rum. It is an intense and complex drink with notes of caramel, wine and herbs, ideal as an aperitif. In a composition glass, mix ice, rum, sake, white vermouth, and maraschino liqueur, blend for a few seconds, and strain into a chilled Old Fashioned glass. It is decorated with a candy nest and a cherry.

At the Hotel Meliá Recoleta Plaza, the elegant 1557 Bistró is an oasis for lovers of good gastronomy and cocktails. Its bar offers classic options and new versions, such as the Mojito 2.0 that includes molecular components. It is a shaken cocktail, of moderate intensity, that contains Bacardi Carta Blanca rum, Cointreau macerated in citrus and dill, and a dash of soda. Its hallmark are some molecular spheres that provide menthol notes and an “air” of lime that offers a different texture than what is known. It is served in a long glass, finished with mint leaves and a slice of dried lime, and is ideal as an aperitif due to its freshness and great drinkability.

At Punto Mona, the famous bartender Mona Gallosi proposes more than 20 cocktails of her own, applying technique and creativity to quality spirits and innovative ingredients. In addition, to celebrate the day of rum, Gallosi herself will be in charge of the bar, offering a series of drinks in homage to Cuban cocktails. Ronconcon
Ronconcón proposes “little plates” of Latin American cuisine to take to the center of the table and share. His recipes combine techniques and flavors from Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia and more Caribbean countries. This premise is repeated in its cocktail bar and, if we talk about rum, we recommend the Funky Mai Tai cocktail, a version of the classic Mai Tai that is prepared in a shaker with ice, Santa Teresa rum, Negrita Añejo rum, almond & banana orgeat green, triple sec and lime. Served in a tall glass with plenty of broken ice, and garnished with a bamboo leaf, a slice of lime and flaked coconut. It is very aromatic, fresh, with intense citrus flavours, silky and with good volume on the palate.
