Footballer Loris Karius (30) has become the father of a daughter. Little Aria was born on August 16 and thus on the birthday of her mother, the Italian presenter Diletta Leotta (32), according to an Instagram post. Karius and Leotta shared photos from the hospital of the keeper bending over his girlfriend and the child in her arms in the hospital bed with a cake and kissing her on the forehead.
“Today I was reborn by you. Welcome Aria,” Leotta wrote alongside. “You are the best gift we could have asked for.” Under their post on Wednesday evening, the couple received numerous congratulations, including model Aurora Ramazzotti, the daughter of presenter Michelle Hunziker and singer Eros Ramazzotti, who was happy about the baby’s “beautiful name”.
Karius and Leotta have been a couple since last autumn. From 2019 to 2021, the professional footballer, who plays for the English first division club Newcastle United, was in a relationship with the presenter Sophia Thomalla.
