The controversy between Javier Milei and La Renga
The presidential candidate of La Libertad Avanza, Javier Milei, closed his presidential campaign for the PASO at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. To start the act, Milei burst onto the stage and sang the chorus of “Panic show”, one of the great classics of La Renga, which in September 2021 had spoken out against the use of said theme by the economist.
On the other hand, the libertarian leader not only interpreted the theme of Chizzo Napoli and company, but instead closed his act at the Movistar Arena with the classic anti-Menemist “It is coming”of Bersuit Vergarabat.
It should be remembered that, like La Renga, the members of La Bersuit had also spoken out against Milei and even intimidated him in April of this year through a document letter to stop using his song during his electoral campaign.
