In Pink’s hit “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” the 43-year-old curses Britney for being so damn pretty. She doesn’t want to leave it that way anymore because she wants to support her colleague.
Even after being freed from parental and management guardianship, Britney Spears, 41, is not having an easy life. She is struggling with mental problems – and now also with the separation from her husband Sam Asghari, 29. He wants part of her fortune, even though he had signed a marriage contract before the marriage that excluded exactly that. Now he is supposed to try subliminal blackmail attempts to get the singer’s money. An extremely stressful situation for the pop star.
Support from afar, however, came from a colleague: singer Pink, 43, showed her support for Britney Spears by changing one of her lyrics about the pop star as she took to the stage in Detroit. On “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” she subtly changed a line. The original lyrics read: “I’m tired of being compared to frigging Britney Spears / She’s so pretty / That’s just not me.” (“Tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears / she’s so pretty / that just ain’t me”) The singer made “damn” into “sweet”, so “damn Britney” became “sweet Britney”.
Pink changes lyrics about Britney Spears
A little thing you’d think nobody would really notice. But the Detroit audience knew the lyrics and immediately noticed the subtle hint – Pink’s change of lyrics was rewarded with loud cheers.

Pink had already commented on her colleague in February: “People think I would have wanted to diss Britney in ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’, but I’ve always felt like her big sister,” said the 43-year-old given to the “People” magazine on record. “I want to protect her, she is the loveliest person in the world. I wish her only the best and send her light all day!”
