In an interview, pop singer Lady Gaga spoke about how makeup used to boost her self-confidence and help her develop. “It’s been a healing activity for me since I was very young,” the 37-year-old tells celebrity portal “E! News” about the make-up on her face.
“I was incredibly insecure as a teenager, and by the time I graduated high school and was on my own, I discovered that makeup had the power to change who I was.” With make-up she could stand up for herself better, said the 13-time Grammy winner (“Poker Face”). “And it had more to do with how I felt than how I looked.”
