On Monday, Pietro Lombardi started a media dispute on Instagram. He publicly criticized his son’s patchwork father, Julian Engels, for a statement. Shortly thereafter he makes a PR announcement – coincidence?
Pietro Lombardi got really angry on Instagram last Monday. The reason for this was a post by Julian Engels. The new man alongside his ex-wife Sarah Engels said in advance on Instagram that the Engels family had slept badly, partly because Alessio, Sarah and Pietro’s son, had seen something scary at the weekend and had woken up again and again .
Pietro Lombardi then burst publicly in seven Instagram stories, because that weekend Alessio had stayed with Pietro Lombardi and his fiancé Laura Maria Rypa. He felt unfairly exposed and justified his Instagram tit-for-tat with the wrong image of what the public could have of him, and he also had to protect his wife. Both were apparently titled “irresponsible” in a message from followers.
The singer gets upset about seven slides in the Instagram story. Never tires of emphasizing that family conflicts are best resolved over the phone and in person rather than on social media – and then immediately posts the next story. The German media landscape is jumping on the bandwagon, including him star reported on the Zoff in the Engels-Lombardi house.
Pietro Lombardi posts an announcement a few hours after the dispute
Just six hours later, after his last Instagram story on the subject of Pietro vs. Julian, after almost all German media houses had reported on the case, then this: Pietro Lombardi posts another Instagram story in which he explains to his fans that he had appointments and talks all day since 7.30 a.m. – “there was really a lot of action today”. Nevertheless, he apparently found the time to post seven Instagram stories about the conflict with Julian.
Shortly thereafter, Lombardi posted on Instagram: “We’re going to have big things, definitely and we’re very happy about it, but Laura or we will tell you everything else in the next few days,” he says.
This announcement could possibly explain the whole public dispute with Julian Engels. Hours after all the media had reported on Pietro Lombardi, his name was in the headlines and one or two readers had certainly looked at Lombardi’s story for themselves, this announcement.
Lombardi himself had previously denied Julian Engels’ accusation that he was only looking for attention. “I don’t need headlines,” he boasted, pointing out that he fills arenas at his concerts.
But if you look at the exact course of events, the suspicion arises: maybe the former footballer Julian Engels was not so wrong.
