“It was with a broken heart that I heard about the loss of my dear friend Heath Freeman, a talented actor, director, producer, outstanding cook and good friend,” writes Moakler on a joint photo of himself and Freeman. “You will be missed very much and I will cherish every amazing memory we have … and we have many great ones!”
“Pretty Little Liars” star Ashley Benson (31) also said goodbye to Freeman. “I will love you forever. Rest in peace,” she comments on a photo in which she presses a kiss on his cheek.
A successful career
Freeman studied film and acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York and later attended the University of Texas at Austin. In 2003 he slipped into the role of Benjamin Frank in the successful television series “NCIS”. From 2005 to 2007 he played Howard Epps in the television series “Bones”, which made him known to a wider audience. Freeman also worked as a producer and writer, including for the film “Skateland – Times Are Changing” with Ashley Greene (34).
