Inside the Teatro Colón, in addition to artists, collaborators and tourists, there are different spaces for gastronomy. Among them, the Viamonte confectionery, which was remodeled after an investment of $200 million.

The work that was carried out in the viamonte confectionerywhich receives those who bought tickets in the boxes of the Buenos Aires theater, was in charge of the interior designer Coty Larguia. According to her, being a cultural heritagehe furniture design was forced to respect the architecture and the symbolic value that characterizes it: “Our mission was to promote and transform the visit but without imposing ourselves. For this reason, we sought to capture the essence of the place, taking into account its importance in the artistic community and in the cultural life of the City.”

To achieve this, several decisions were made. The large central bar was replaced by two smaller bars located at the ends, which allowed for better circulation and prioritization of seating areas. In addition, a large central armchair and different styles of tables were incorporated, which facilitate the interaction and comfort of visitors.
