Prince Harry has complained about a lack of support from his family after returning from military action in Afghanistan. His “biggest struggle” was that “no one around me could really help,” said King Charles III’s younger son. according to British media in a Netflix documentary. He had no network “to find out what was really going on with me,” said the 38-year-old on the show about the “Invictus Games” he created himself, world games for servicewomen and women who were physically and mentally injured and ill Soldiers.
“Unfortunately, like most of us, the first time you really think about therapy is when you’re lying on the floor in a fetal position and you probably wish you’d dealt with some of these things sooner,” Harry said. He served twice as a soldier in Afghanistan between 2007 and 2013 and says he killed 25 people in combat there. On September 9th, the Duke of Sussex, as his official title reads, wants to open the “Invictus Games” in Düsseldorf. Together with his wife, Duchess Meghan, he has two children: Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2).
The series, which was produced by Harry, is part of the couple’s multi-million dollar deal with Netflix. In a first Netflix documentary about Meghan and Harry, they made serious allegations against the royal family. Observers expect Harry will not meet up with Charles or his brother Prince William over family disputes when he makes a stop in London en route to Dusseldorf. There he is scheduled to attend a charity awards ceremony on September 7, the eve of the first anniversary of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
