As part of the objective of promoting the development of federal content, the Renacer Audiovisual contest proposed three productive lines: provincial and regional; the national; and co-productions with channels, signals and platforms.
The jury that selected the 79 projects was made up for each category and made up of five prominent people from the field of culture and the audiovisual sector, at the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Media and Public Communication, the company Contenidos Públicos SE, the Federal Council of Culture and the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts.
“Through this program, the State also seeks to generate quality content, plural and federal, promoting the position that Argentina has had as an exporter of audiovisual services,” said the Ministry of Media and Public Communication through a statement.
The agency added that “the number of projects presented, as well as their federal nature, show the interest of the sector in this type of call, highlighting once again the prominent role that the audiovisual industry has in Argentine culture.”
