According to a media report, Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef are said to have reached an agreement in the course of their divorce.
Ricky Martin (51) and his former partner, Jwan Yosef (38), are apparently recently divorced. At the beginning of July it was announced that after almost six years of marriage they would like to go their separate ways. Now the two are said to have reached a divorce agreement.
There is an unchallenged written agreement, citing court documents. Accordingly, only the signature of the responsible judge is missing before the two are officially considered single again. Exact details are not known.
They ended their “marriage with love, respect and dignity”.
The singer and the artist had confirmed a few weeks ago that they are going to divorce. “We have chosen to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and to honor what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years,” the former couple said in a joint statement.
Martin and Yosef went on to say that their greatest desire is to “continue to maintain a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship, to continue raising our children together, and the respect and love that we have for each other”.
Martin and Yosef officially became a couple in 2016, shortly after making their red carpet debut and also announcing their engagement. In early 2018, the singer then confirmed that they had secretly married. The ex-couple has two children together – their daughter Lucia, born in 2018, and son Renn, who was born in 2019. Martin also has twin sons Matteo and Valentino, who were born in 2008.
