Amira Pocher and Oliver Pocher: This is how they managed their finances

After four years of marriage, Oliver and Amira Pocher separated. The comedian and the presenter admitted this in their joint podcast. In terms of finances, the split should go ahead without major complications.

When love is over, the War of the Roses and a fight over money often follow. Especially when one of the parties has more financial resources than the other. In the case of Oliver and Amira Pocher, however, matters should also be settled after the separation.

Amira Pocher and Oliver Pocher have a marriage contract

In an interview with the “Bild” newspaper in March of this year, the comedian and the presenter also talked about their finances. The two did not have a joint account, Amira Pocher said at the time, everyone had their own. “We also have different accountants,” she said. Oliver Pocher also revealed that the two had signed a marriage contract. “In the aftermath, I have to say that it was a mistake on my part that we don’t have an accrual community. I should have done it differently,” he told the newspaper.

In the case of a community of gains, the assets generated by the two spouses are equalized in the event of a divorce. That’s the automatic rule if you don’t sign a marriage contract. In such a contract, the spouses can, for example, agree on the separation of property. The assets of the spouses remain separate. So what does Oliver Pocher mean with his statement? Since Amira Pocher boosted her career on TV and as an entrepreneur during the marriage, she should have earned well during the years at Pocher’s side. So in the event of a divorce, he might have benefited from it if the marriage contract had not been concluded.

Presenter has emancipated herself from her husband

As far as money is concerned, matters in the Pocher house were settled, but there were still arguments from time to time, the Pochers told the “Bild” newspaper. The comedian said jokingly that he hardly felt like spoiling Amira anymore. “It used to be a helicopter flight, but today it would be nice if the helicopter was yours afterwards,” he joked about possible gifts. “What nonsense,” replied Amira Pocher.

For her, the marriage to the comedian was worth it purely from a career point of view. The trained make-up artist has long since emancipated herself from her husband. In 2021, Pocher started her own podcast with “Hey Amira”. In the same year she launched a fashion collection and was hired as a presenter for two Vox programs. She invested the money she earned in a condominium. Labels “Fayble” has nothing to do with her estranged husband.
