Portela said that so far “a total of 3 amateur cooks, 4 gastronomy students and 4 professional chefs have already advanced to the final with savory dishes.”
Once the sweet stage is over, the date of the final will be known, where the challenge will be to make a dish with only the ingredients prepared for the occasion.
The official did not hesitate to state that “having a good gastronomy makes visitors, locals and tourists choose to want to visit our destination. This is a contest that opens job offers and makes our regional economy grow,” she concluded.
