Mariano participated at the end of April in the cycle of Guido Kaczka and managed to win 9 million pesos; part of that money was destined to the treatment of his daughter.

He was about to win the top prize, 12 million pesos, but had to be absent from several programs due to his daughter’s health. Kaczka, in one of the broadcasts, said that his absence was for “force majeure reasons” and from the program they saved his place. And he came back two weeks later, but he couldn’t win the maximum amount.
Agustina Cáceres’ illness
Five years earlier, Agustina was discovered to have problems with her right eye. Originally from Beltrán, a town in Santiago del Estero, the family traveled to Buenos Aires to see Garrahan, and there the doctors diagnosed the girl with a rhabdomyosarcoma tumor that forms in her soft tissue.
From the diagnosis, Mariano and Agustina came and went to Buenos Aires to do the treatment in the Garrahan. As Noelia, Agustina’s mother, explained to TN, her daughter “had an eye cast”, although the tumor reappeared.
