Rock star Bruce Springsteen (“Born in the USA”) has canceled his planned concert appearances in the USA in September on the advice of his doctors.
The 73-year-old is being treated for stomach ulcer symptoms, a statement on his website said. This month, the rocker and his E Street Band had eight concerts planned across the US, including Washington DC and New York.
They are “heartbroken” that they have to postpone the performances, Springsteen wrote. They were looking forward to being back on stage soon.
Springsteen and his E Street Band had previously toured Europe. Her tour in Barcelona began at the end of April. They also gave four concerts in Germany, including in Hamburg and Munich.
