Where to enjoy and celebrate International Salami Day
Dingo House
Located in front of Plaza Armenia, Casa Dingo is a specialty cafeteria inspired by Australia, where they serve coffee of Colombian origin and both sweet and savory preparations, with options at all times. A must-try item is their sourdough toast with crispy pepperoni, chickpeas, scrambled eggs, a feta cheese crumble, homemade chilli oil and chopped fresh parsley. The pepperoni, made with paprika, adds a distinctive spiciness and its crunchy texture contrasts nicely with the creaminess of the eggs. It is suggested to accompany with a macchiato coffee.
- Address: Armenia 1908, Palermo.

The Pizza OTL
In the gastronomic center of San Telmo, on Boulevard Caseros, is The Pizza OTL, specializing in sourdough pizzas and a proposal with Italian roots that includes homemade pasta, antipasti and piadinas. Here, lovers of salami find the finocchiona sandwich, made on pizza bread spread with butter infused with roasted garlic and a mix of herbs (rosemary, sage and thyme), and stuffed with gruyere cheese slices, lettuce, fennel pickles and a typical Tuscan salami that is prepared with fennel seeds, which gives it a flavor between aniseed and lemony.
- Address: Caseros 424, San Telmo.

sew my piece
Cosi mi Piace offers authentic Roman pizzas: thin, crispy and almost without edges. They are prepared with Italian Divella flour and natural cold fermentation for 48 hours. In each of his creations, premium quality ingredients are used, obtained through Italian producers (mostly) and other national ones, turning each preparation into a light and excellent alternative ready to captivate any palate. Such is the case of the salami that they use for their Salami pizza, coming from Milan. It has pomodoro, fior di latte, Milan salami, natural tomato, pesto and basil.

For three decades, Avellino Pizzería has been offering pizzas on the stone and empanadas in the clay oven for delivery and take away. In its branch on Cossio street, they also serve other products, such as sandwiches, pastas and milanesas. Of the latter, the one with fried meat or chicken stands out, with pepperoni. On top, they add tomato sauce, lots of mozzarella, provolone and thin slices of pepperoni-type salami, made with pork and different spices. It is served with French fries or rustic potatoes and can be accompanied with a very cold beer.

Il Giardino Romagnoli
Il Giardino Romagnoli pays tribute to Italian cuisine through classic recipes, such as antipastos, dry and fresh pasta, pizzas, and more dishes featuring pasture-raised meats, fresh fish, and fine products. Its signature table includes locally produced Italian cheeses and artisan cold cuts. It has bocconcini, blue cheese, reggianito, pategras, tybo, Parma prosciutto, mortadella with pistachios, sopressata, cooked ham and spianata. The latter is a slightly spicy salami, typical of Calabria, provided by a local Italian-Argentine producer who makes it from the hatchery to final consumption. The table is completed with nuts, black olives, cherry tomatoes and focaccia.
- Address: Carlos Pellegrini 1576, La Recova de Posadas, Recoleta.

Tribe
In Tribu, tapas can be done in a natural setting on the banks of the river, on the Martínez waterfront. For midday or evening, we recommend a cheese and cold cuts board that includes an Italian-type sausage from Tandil, with a coarse mince, an intense flavor and a slight hint of anise. It is completed with raw ham, mortadella, brie, roquefort, camembert and goat cheese, olives, marinades and slices of homemade bread. While you can try its remarkable signature cocktails.
- Address: Juan Díaz de Solís 2794, Martínez (in Paraná and the river).
