The US singer Marc Anthony (54, “Vivir Mi Vida”) was honored with a star in Hollywood and was surprised by his good friend David Beckham (48). The ex-football star was invited as a guest speaker on Thursday (local time) when Anthony unveiled the 2,762nd star plaque on the famous “Walk of Fame” – as a surprise for the musician.
Beckham said he met the singer 20 years ago when he was playing for Real Madrid. He was really “starstruck” back then. They became friends immediately. Anthony is a very special talent, but even more “a very special person,” said the British athlete. Beckham was accompanied by his son Cruz. Anthony is the 18-year-old’s godfather.

Anthony, himself a father of seven, posed kissing with wife Nadia Ferreira and two adult sons on the newly unveiled star. He stands here in humility, said the singer, visibly moved. He owes everything to his family and friends who believed in him.
The singer and songwriter, who was born in New York to Puerto Rican parents, is a multiple Grammy Award winner. Most recently he released the album “Pa’lla voy” (2022). Anthony is best known for salsa music.
At the end of January, the musician married the Paraguayan model Nadia Ferreira (24). They became parents in June. It was the fourth wedding and seventh child for Anthony, who was previously married to Puerto Rican model Dayanara Torres, US actress and singer Jennifer Lopez and Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima.
