Paramount+ revealed the first preview of The Rapture, his new original Argentine film, which has just been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film will soon be released in theaters and in international markets where the streaming service is available. More details will be announced soon.

The film, produced by Paramount Television International Studios, Rei Cine and Infinity Hill, is directed by Daniela Goggi and starring Rodrigo de la Serna, Julieta Zylberberg, Lautaro Perez Hillal, Lola Loyacono, Andrea Garrote, Germán Palacios and Jorge Marrale.


What The Rapture is about
The story takes place in Buenos Aires, in the 1980s. Julio Levy and his family return to Argentina after a long exile in order to enjoy their life in democracy and collaborate in the family business. An event alters his plans. His brother is kidnapped, forcing her to take his place in the family business, while he manages the company and leads a complex operation to rescue his brother. Julio will discover the face of the hidden forces that still operate behind the recently recovered Argentine democracy.
