At the same time, the Stella 2023, the prize for theater for young audiences, will be awarded. In the 50 years since its founding in October 1973, 910,000 visitors have been welcomed to 9,455 performances. During this time, the theater moved from the Linzer Kellertheater via the Old Town Hall to the Kuddelmuddel children’s cultural center. Theater director Andreas Baumgartner is planning three premieres for the 2023/24 season: “Wonderful Hidden Object World” for children aged 2.5 and over on November 17th, “Moby Dick” (from 6) on February 16th and “The Mole and the Stars” ( from 3) on April 5th.
