As a new Austrian dance festival, the “Choreographic Platform Austria” (CPA) invites you to 30 artistic positions in Vienna and in the Festspielhaus Sankt Pölten from October 19th to 21st. The CPA opens on October 19th at 1:30 p.m. with Karin Pauer’s performance installation “We Were Never One” in the brut northwest. The finale will be a new guest performance of Florentina Holzinger’s internationally award-winning work “Ophelia’s Got Talent” at the Volkstheater. Shown on the three festival days include Michael Turinsky’s Nestroy Prize-winning “Precarious Moves”, “Béton Brut” by the dance company Hungy Sharks and “Exotica” by Amanda Piña and her nadaproductions. Things get cosmic when choreographer Doris Uhlich on October 20th in the Festspielhaus St. Pölten dedicated to the “Sonne”. After Sankt Pölten, other federal states will also be involved as Vienna partners in the biennial festival. All information about the festival and program: www.choreographic-platform.at
