At the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry don’t have to do much to silence the rumors of a marital crisis. They simply do what they do best. As fans are used to from the former senior royals, the two are approachable and down-to-earth as usual. They pose for selfies, hug onlookers and wave flags. But Meghan and Harry also get in touch with each other. Early in their time together as working royals, they were criticized for being traditional royalists. While Prince William and Princess Kate adhere to every rule, both official and unofficial, Meghan and Harry disregarded many aspects of royal etiquette. They held hands, hugged each other and sought proximity to fans. Today, three years after their official exit from the royal family, the two enjoy even more freedom. Their joint appearances in Düsseldorf show this once again.
