The Student Symphony Orchestra is made up of students from different institutions and independent musicians. It is a self-managed space, open to the community without age limits. In his ten years of activity he performed numerous times in venues in the city of Mar del Plata as well as in Villa Gesell, Pinamar, Necochea, Maipú, Lobería, Miramar and Balcarce.
Meanwhile, at 8 p.m. and at the Collective Space for Musical Experiences (ECEM), in La Rioja at 200 of the spa city, bassist Marcos Basso will perform.
The band is completed by Federico Viceconte and José Marín on saxophones, Daniel Fernández on keyboard, Teby Frontera on guitar and Sergio Salvatore on drums; who together with Basso will review songs from their available albums (“Animated Fantasies”, “Serpiente cósmica”, “Marcos Basso Jazz Ensamble”) and will preview new songs from their next material, titled “Supervoz”.
With stylistic diversity as a premise, Marcos Basso proposes a repertoire crossed by different sounds and rhythms always guided by interaction and improvisation.
