- The Hollywood star’s first name translated from Hawaiian means “cool breeze that blows over the mountain.” He was named after his uncle, Henry Keanu Reeves.
- In 2000’s The Watcher, Reeves plays a serial killer – a role he never signed for. According to the Hollywood star, his friend and director Joe Charbanic forged his signature. To avoid litigation, Reeves played an uncharacteristic role. Reeves and Universal Pictures also agreed to his temporary silence – in return, Reeves’ name was downplayed in the film’s promotion.
