Lee Ryan (40) is becoming a father again. The singer of the boy band Blue is expecting his fifth child. That’s where Ryan announced the good news. “My wife Verity and I are very excited to announce our new baby, arriving this year,” he wrote. “The news came out of the blue and I found out on my 40th birthday! What a gift from God,” the Brit continued.
Bandmate reveals baby’s gender
Lee Ryan left it open whether the offspring is a girl or a boy. A bandmate was responsible for announcing the gender of the baby. Duncan James (45) revealed in a comment on X that it is a son. “They say number 3 is a lucky charm,” James wrote, “and now your lucky charm is a little boy.”
Lee Ryan already has two daughters with his wife Verity Paris, with whom he has been married since last year. They were born in 2021 and 2022. The now expected baby is already the fifth child for the singer. He has daughter Bluebell (16) from his relationship with Jessica Keevil. In 2008, his former fiancée Samantha Miller gave birth to son Rayn.
For Lee Ryan, the baby news is once again good news. At the beginning of 2019, the Blue Star was found guilty of, among other things, “racially motivated bodily harm”.
