O’zapft is: The 188th Oktoberfest opened at the weekend and celebrities came in droves straight to the start. Above all, the traditional alpine drive, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, attracted stars and starlets to the Käfer tent. Sharlely Becker, Alessandra Meyer-Wölden and Barbara Becker, three ex-wives of tennis professional Boris Becker, came to the event. Simone Ballack appeared with her new partner Heiko Grote and met her ex-husband Michael Ballack, who was celebrating with his new partner Sophia Schneiderhan.
Nicole Coste’s appearance caused a lot of whispers. The former lover of Prince Albert of Monaco celebrated in the Käfer tent while the prince himself attended the Oktoberfest at the weekend. The 65-year-old explained that his wife, Princess Charlène, was in South Africa for her foundation’s projects.
The Oktoberfest runs until October 3rd and is likely to attract many more celebrities to Theresienwiese.
