After the children’s sound cloud, which – organized by Kuddelmuddel – attracted 3,000 visitors to the Donaupark a week ago, the start of the season is at the Linz Children’s Cultural Center, which also likes to leave its cozy venue at Langgasse 13: a family afternoon on September 29th is inviting from 2 p.m. to the “Linz Days of Language” on the main square, where the Viennese children’s songwriter Kiri Rocket and her band will be playing. After “Tek and Tük find happiness”, children’s book author Margit Zierhut brings her new prank “Die nasty Liese” to the Kuddelmuddel stage as a puppet theater (October 7th). Max Tröbinger continues the “Picture Book Cinema” series with Marc-Uwe Kling’s “The NEINhorn and the Snake” (10/15).
The “Kumulino” track awaits the youngest, which for the first time invites you to an interactive performance for the very little ones from ten months of age in the Lentos Auditorium with the international ensemble VRUM (12th, 13th November).
Creative workshops from October
The Linz Puppet Theater based in Kuddelmuddel brings Advent magic with “The Mysterious Manger” (December 8th). The Pantaleon Puppet Theater reveals how Astrid Lindgren’s Michel celebrates Christmas (December 1st – 3rd), Gerti Tröbinger goes on a slightly different search for a hostel with “Three Stars” (December 23rd, 24th). The puppet theater player from St. Georgen/Gusen and her son Maximilian will also be shaping the Punch and Judy Days 2024, this time in celebration of Bruckner’s 200th birthday with “Pussip and Die Orgelpfeifen” from January 2nd (with accordion playing) and on March 14th in the Brucknerhaus, “With live music on the organ. It will be huge,” says Kuddelmuddel leader Manfred Forster. A puppet theater with the Spring String Quartet traces “The Strange Mr. Bruckner” (Bruckneruni, February 2nd). From October, the workshops invite you to breakdance (from the 5th year), circus, theater and dance – as a reflection of a diversity with around 350 performances a year that testify to the “love and dedication” that LIVA boss Dietmar Kerschbaum attests to the Kuddelmuddel.
