Bauer, a filmmaker from Mar del Plata and a graduate of Enerc, highlighted the federalization that the Ministry is promoting for studies in audiovisual arts and the segmentation aimed at in the industry. The goal is “to work on the specificity of animation and new technologies (…) we saw how they expanded in the pandemic,” Bauer said.
Puenzo commented that when he took office in 2020 they saw “that Enerc had few animation careers” and, thus, they noticed “the need” to generate momentum, which is why they created, in Incaa, “a sub-management of Animation and the idea of take it forward in Mar del Plata “.
Costa, for his part, stressed that the audiovisual “is a fundamental industry for the country and the province,” while ensuring that the school’s Mar del Plata headquarters will begin to function with the 2022 school year.
While Abbate highlighted the role of the house of studies that he directs and its “direct” impact on audiovisual production; He added that this new career will not only be for technicians, but also for the training of integral filmmakers.
