Is it better at Oktoberfest than on dating platforms? Cathy Hummels is looking for a man on her “Wiesnstummel”.
Cathy Hummels (35) is hoping for “a lot of fresh meat” from the Munich Oktoberfest. “It’s nice when you get to know people who aren’t from here,” she said on Monday before setting off for the “Wiesnstummel” that she was staging. “There’s nothing wrong in Munich.”
Hummels divorced her husband, soccer star Mats Hummels, last winter and has been single since then and is now looking for a new man.
She explained that she hadn’t found anything on dating platforms either. “They date 30 women at the same time. They’re just rags.” It is very difficult to get to know a man. “I’m at the age where most people are just getting married, I’m already divorced. I’m very well known, my ex-husband is even better known than me. You don’t know exactly who is looking at you because he thinks you’re good or because he “I have a hard time with that,” she said.
But it is also “complicated”. “I fall in love very hard. And when I fall in love, I become strange. I can’t make a sound and I’m very shy.”
To prepare for her Oktoberfest stroll, Hummels rented a hotel where she and her guests such as Lilly Becker, Sandy Meyer-Wölden and Sophia Thiel got dressed up for the Oktoberfest. In keeping with the motto “#IMOGDI,” there were even pretzel hearts with pink salt.
