The Italian Cuisine Week in the World is an annual event dedicated to the promotion of quality Italian cuisine and food products, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the network of Embassies, Consulates, Italian Institutes of Culture, ICE Offices and other actors of the Italian Country System that operate abroad.

In this context, the Foreign Minister highlighted the gastronomic tradition of his country and asserted that the Foreign Ministry “is in the first line in the defense, in any multilateral forum”, of the Italian food model.

“Italy supports traditional, healthy and sustainable diets, such as the Mediterranean”, he highlighted.
