Actress Jennifer Garner took touching care of a homeless man in a wheelchair – and even wanted to give him her own shoes. When these didn’t fit, a photographer came to help.
Jennifer Garner has appeared in numerous Hollywood films (“30 Overnight”, “Dallas Buyers Club”) and was even awarded a Golden Globe in 2001 for her role in the series “Alias - The Agent”. But the star also likes to take care of disadvantaged people who often lack basic necessities.
There was a touching encounter between the 51-year-old and a homeless man in a parking lot in Santa Monica. As the US celebrity portal “Page Six” reports, Garner – dressed casually in jeans, a T-shirt and sneakers – saw the man in a wheelchair on the way to shopping. She started a conversation with him and gave him some everyday utensils in a plastic bag. She also had socks for the man who went barefoot.
Jennifer Garner helps in teamwork with a photographer
Garner, who apparently had no fear of contact with the homeless man, knelt down in front of him and put the man’s socks on herself. And not only that: she even took off her own shoes and wanted to give them to the homeless man. However, it wasn’t the right size.
Artist names
These Hollywood stars are world famous – but hardly anyone knows their real names
In the end, the man in the wheelchair got new shoes – thanks to the active support of a paparazzo who photographed the entire scene. Garner asked the photographer his shoe size, and sure enough, not only did they fit the homeless man’s feet, the paparazzo was also willing to give him his black sneakers. He also brought a blanket from his car. It’s rare to see such teamwork between celebrities and photographers.
