The work arises in the framework of the bicentennial of the death of the Entre Ríos leader Francisco Ramírez and the bicentennial of the creation of the province of Córdoba, the work “Romance of the free peoples”, whose text and direction belong to the playwright Miguel Ángel Palma, addresses historical situations of the three provinces that make up the Central Region, of Argentina and of neighboring countries, fictionalized, focusing on the character of La Delfina, as a common thread and narrator.
In this regard, the Minister of Culture of the province of Santa Fe, Jorge Llonch, stated: “We are carrying out this beautiful co-production, which will narrate the life of Pancho Ramírez and his relationship with Brigadier Estanislao López and the Cordovan leader Juan Bautista Bustos. The idea is to highlight the lives, struggles and stories of the three great leaders of the Central Region, great representatives of Argentine federalism ”.
Likewise, the Santa Fe official stressed that “The premiere of this piece is one more sample of the clear federal conscience of our provinces. I always remember that together with Governor Omar Perotti we conceive cultural management with a profoundly federal criterion ”.
Meanwhile, according to Palma himself “This proposal highlights the importance of celebrating and recognizing ourselves in those who preceded us, of visiting our history, rescuing core values of our culture as people from Santa Fe, Entre Rios, Cordoba and Argentina.”

Palma, finally, indicated that “The stage proposal seeks to bring these characters closer to their most human and sensitive condition, as fathers, mothers, couples. Faced with the pain of the events reported, a look is presented that seeks to understand, unite, unite us in coincidences, and think within the framework of a complex history and reality ”.
Figure of Francisco Pancho Ramirez will be interpreted by the entrerriano actor Julian Vazquez, while the character of Estanislao Lopez will be embodied by the actor Ignacio Bellini, who composed the Brigadier in previous productions. Pablo Tolosa, from Córdoba, prominent actor of La Comedia Cordobesa, with extensive experience in the field of audiovisual production and in the composition of historical characters in his province, will represent Juan Bautista Bustos.
