King Charles and Queen Camilla are currently on a three-day state trip to France. On their first evening in the French capital, President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte welcomed the royal couple to a state banquet at the Palace of Versailles.
But it wasn’t just the royal couple who caused a stir at the event, but also the long guest list, which included world stars such as Mick Jagger and his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, who is 44 years his junior, as well as Hugh Grant and his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein.

Also “Jane Eyre” star Charlotte Gainsbourg, “Sex Education” actress Emma Mackey, the French multi-billionaire Bernard Arnault and numerous professional athletes, including ex-Arsenal London coach Arsène Wenger, ex-Chelsea player Didier Drogba and Welt – and European champion Patrick Vieira, were spotted on the red carpet in front of the Versailles Palace on their way to the state banquet. King Charles and Queen Camilla were originally scheduled to travel to France in March. However, due to the national unrest at the time, the planned trip had to be postponed and will now be rescheduled six months later.
