Sophie Turner she is suing her ex-husband Joe Jonas for the return of his two daughters to England.
The actress of game of Thrones filed the lawsuit in a Manhattan court on Thursday requesting to ensure “the immediate return of children taken or unjustly retained,” the documents shared by the portal state. Page Six.
Turner claims in the filing that the “improper retention” began on September 20.

Turner also claims that she and band member Hermanos Jonas They agreed over Christmas 2022 that they would make England their “forever home” and begin looking for schools for their eldest daughter, Willa.
“Both parties were excited about the family’s move to England,” the documents state.
The now ex-couple finally found the perfect home in the English countryside, which is why they put their Miami property up for sale and began a long-term rental agreement with plans to purchase the property.
They officially moved from Miami to England on April 10, 2023, according to the documents, noting that Turner, 27, began filming the miniseries “Joan” near. Jonas, however, then began his tour with his brothers.
The “Dancing Foot” singer, 34, and Turner “hesitantly” agreed to let their daughters travel with Jonas because he had more free periods of the day than she did to spend with the children despite their evening commitments.
“The girls could then at least spend some time during the day with one of their parents until the mother finishes her filming commitments,” the documents explain, noting that the daughters’ trip on tour would only be a “temporary arrangement.”
However, the breakup of the star dark phoenix and Jonas’ marriage “happened very suddenly” after an argument on Aug. 15, 2023, the documents state.
The “Hesitate” singer then filed for divorce on September 1, and the lawsuit claims Turner found out about the divorce “through the media” four days later.
Two weeks after Jonas filed for divorce, the musician and actress met to discuss their separation, and Turner claimed in documents that she “reiterated” her plan for the children to move to England, but now accuses him of retain their passports.
“The father has possession of the children’s passports”, the documents state. “He refuses to return the passports to Mother and refuses to send the children to England with Mother.”
