“HealthyMandy” and “FitnessOskar” lost their first child as a baby. Now the influencer couple is happy about another pregnancy: “We are overjoyed.”
There are difficult months behind Mandy Brobeck and Oskar Ogorkiewicz. In December last year, the influencer couple – better known as “HealthyMandy” and “FitnessOskar” – announced the death of their son Rio.
But now there is good news again for the two of them. They appeared beaming with joy on Instagram, holding a positive pregnancy test and a baby romper into the camera. The happy news: “We are pregnant again.” A few days earlier, Mandy (approx. 870,000 followers on Instagram) and Oskar (more than 440,000 followers) had made a post with the text “PUPO”. The abbreviation stands for “pregnant until proven otherwise.”

A blood test then confirmed the result, reports the couple, who are also known as “Fitness Couple” on YouTube: “We still can’t believe it.” There were congratulations from the followers and other influencers, and many were particularly touched by the print on the romper. “Sent from heaven by my big brother,” it read under a rainbow – a reminder of little Rio, whom the couple lost to a rare autoimmune disease when he was just four months old. The couple dealt openly with the illness and the death of their child.

After the baby’s tragic death, they decided to undergo fertility treatment because there was a high risk that other children would also be born with the genetic defect. In fact, Mandy had become pregnant again in the spring. But just a few days after the announcement on social media, Mandy and Oskar had to give their followers sad news again: “We have lost our embryo.” Now they are looking to the future with hope again.
