“Thanks to the 3-G evidence and the contact data collection in the catering trade, we currently have a particularly precise insight into the infection process and the clusters that have arisen, and can track them well,” added Mückstein. “In order to be able to maintain the opening steps, we now have to fight the delta variant together. Complete vaccination protection is particularly effective in containing the delta variant. (…) The first vaccination does not offer complete protection against illness.”
