Amira and Oliver Pocher have built a brand together over several years. They appeared together on Instagram, in TV shows and on their couples podcast “Die Pochers”. When they announced their separation a few weeks ago, they made it clear that they wanted to continue working together on the podcast – including emotional conversations. During a live recording shortly after the breakup, there was an emotional moment in front of an audience.

“In the middle of the recording, the two suddenly hug each other. Oli had jokingly asked for a kiss, but he ‘only’ got a hug from Amira. The conversation continued for a short time until HE noticed that SHE was fighting back tears – like him yourself too,” she described the scene. In their new episode, the Pochers explain the moment. “That shows that there is still some residual feeling in you,” says the comedian to his estranged wife. Pocher already admitted that he was against the separation.
Amira Pocher has a clear explanation for her own tears. “I can’t see you crying and of course that hurts me too. And when we hugged for the first time, I could see that you had red eyes. Then I tried to distract myself and looked away,” she explains .
They want to stand together
“Of course I don’t care about you. We’re experiencing a lot right now and have experienced a lot in the past and it doesn’t always leave us without a trace,” said the trained make-up artist. She also explains that she always wants to be on her estranged husband’s side, even if they are no longer a couple. Oliver Pocher expresses vague doubts about this. “Let’s wait and see. In the first step I’m always neutral, but when I’m challenged…” he says.
