Gisele Bündchen: She comments on the divorce on TV

Tomorrow, Sunday, the US broadcaster CBS will broadcast an interview with Gisele Bündchen. It’s also about their divorce.

Gisele Bündchen (43) obviously needs to talk: Within a few days, the Brazilian spoke out again about her failed marriage to football star Tom Brady (46). The TV interview is scheduled to air tomorrow, Sunday (September 24th) on CBS. The broadcaster published a clip in advance. In it, the model talks about how she used to “rather survive” and is now “living.” However, a divorce was not what she had hoped for her life.

“I can choose more of what I want”

In an interview with Lee Cowan (58) from “CBS News Sunday Morning”, the supermodel looks back on her relationship with the NFL star and explains how she is doing now. “I’m at a different point in my life. I can choose more of what I want. I think I used to be more of a survivor, and now I’m alive.” That is completely different. Nevertheless, she emphasizes: “I look at my life and wouldn’t have it any other way. If they say: Can you change something in your life? I wouldn’t change absolutely anything.”

When asked by the journalist whether this also applies to her divorce, the model replies: “I mean, it’s not what I dreamed of and hoped for.” Her parents have been married for 50 years and she really wanted that. “But I think sometimes you have to accept that in your 20s, sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart.” Despite everything, she only has good words for her ex-husband: “I mean, he’s the father of my children, so I always wish him the best and I’m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children. And I think if When one door closes, other doors open.”

The teaser was also published on the show’s Instagram page.

“It was very hard”

A few days ago, Bündchen spoke to People magazine in detail about the difficult time she was going through. Her sick parents also gave her trouble last year. “It was very hard for my family. There was a lot going on – in every area of my life,” revealed the Brazilian. “When it rains, it pours.” However, she tries to stay positive: “With all the different turns that life takes, we can only make the best of what is happening around us.”

Bündchen focused on her health: she practiced yoga, often went for walks in nature and worked out. She also paid close attention to her diet. She no longer drinks alcohol: “After I turned 40, I felt a huge difference between the glass of wine I drank and the glass of wine I didn’t drink.”

In October 2022, the model and the athlete announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage. After the separation, Gisele Bündchen moved to Miami with their two children Benjamin (13) and Vivian (10). She still has a good relationship with Jack (16), Brady’s son from a previous relationship.
