After the rape and abuse allegations against him, Russell Brand contacted his fans in a video.
Russell Brand (48) posted a video to his fans on social media after several women accused him of sexual assault. In the clip, which was published last Friday, among other things, the British YouTuber, author and stand-up comedian explained: “Obviously it’s been an extraordinary and worrying week and I thank you very much for your support and for sharing the information questions that were presented to you.”

He further claimed: “By now you probably know that the UK government has asked major tech platforms to censor our online content and that some online platforms have complied.” This is happening in the context of an online security law in Great Britain “which grants extensive surveillance and censorship powers and which has already been passed”.
Brand also spoke of the Trusted News Initiative, which is a collaboration between major technology companies and established media organizations “to target, monitor, suppress and shut down independent media organizations like these.” He also wants to talk about this topic in his live show on the Rumble video platform next Monday.
Russell Brand’s activity on YouTube has been restricted. Accordingly, the platform has blocked all Russell Brand channels from making money from advertising revenue. He violated the “Creator Responsibility” regulation. These restrictions mean that Russell Brand can continue to upload videos, but will no longer receive any revenue.
The Briton is currently facing massive allegations of rape and abuse following the broadcast of a TV documentary entitled “Russell Brand: In Plain Sight”. As part of a joint investigation, the Sunday Times, the Times and the TV show Dispatches published allegations from four anonymous women who accused Brand of sexual assault, emotional and sexual abuse and sexual violence.
According to media reports, after the documentary was broadcast, other women came forward with similar allegations. Brand responded before the allegations were published. In it he said that he had lived “very, very promiscuously” and had always openly admitted this. However, all of his relationships were “absolutely and always consensual.”
