Raid after corona vaccination of 120 Italian hotel employees in Munich

After 120 employees of an Italian luxury hotel in Germany had been vaccinated, a raid has now been carried out in Munich. Several doctors and a pharmacist are investigated.

After vaccinating 120 employees in an Italian hotel in Munich, the Nuremberg Public Prosecutor’s Office raided seven suspects. A pharmacist, five doctors and a lawyer are suspected of vaccine embezzlement, bribery and corruption, as the investigating authority announced on Friday. Several objects in Munich were searched, including a pharmacy, a doctor’s office and a law firm.

The hotel employees of a holiday complex were flown to Munich on May 21 and received a corona vaccination there. The attorney general’s office accuses the pharmacist of defeat because he is said to have provided the vaccine. One of the accused doctors is said to have bought the vaccine, other accused doctors are said to have helped with the vaccination. The accused lawyer is said to have drafted the contract for the vaccination campaign.

Hotel employees were not allowed to vaccinate

As the public prosecutor’s office found, the hotel employees were not allowed to vaccinate in Germany. Six public prosecutors and police officers were involved in the raid.
