This year’s Oktoberfest will close its doors in around a week and a half – but it looks like Oktoberfest 2023 will be a complete success. The tents of the folk festival in particular can once again enjoy enormous crowds. Those who don’t have to wait in line are the international A to Z celebrities. Because numerous events, such as the “Almauftrieb” or company events, invite everyone who has any status or name.
A special highlight for visitors to the Oktoberfest every year is the date of FC Bayern Munich – as the city’s flagship club, they of course cannot be missed at the Oktoberfest. This time, the team’s exhibition run and their supporters took place on a Sunday, after they had previously celebrated a very clear 7-0 home win against VfL Bochum.
Harry Kane was really looking forward to Oktoberfest
“We will put the jugs upstairs,” announced national soccer player Thomas Müller upon arrival. For his teammate Harry Kane, it is the first visit to the Oktoberfest with his new team. He was already looking forward to it the evening before: “I want to soak up as much of the festival as possible,” announced the Englishman. “It has a great tradition,” said Kane. According to the DPA, when trying on the traditional costume, the ex-Londoner was particularly surprised by the Haferl shoes. “The shoes are really tight, I’ve never worn anything like that before. I still have to get used to them.”
One or two measurements should certainly help to relieve the pressure pain in the foot a little.
