For Aurora Ramazzotti, pregnancy and being a mom weren’t always easy. She was particularly concerned about the topic of breastfeeding.
Aurora Ramazzotti became a mother almost six months ago and since then she has been letting her followers share her everyday life as a mother, mostly on Instagram and/or in interviews. She received a lot of praise when she showed off her realistic after-baby body just a few days after giving birth.
She has also already posted pictures that show her breastfeeding baby Cesare on the couch or in the nursery. But now she’s talking to “Bild” about how difficult pregnancy and being a mother actually are.
Baby Cesare did not arrive at the expected date and the birth had to be induced. Since that didn’t work as planned, a cesarean section followed. The scar was “very painful” for a long time.
Aurora Ramazzotti: The breastfeeding relationship with her baby was not easy
This also had an impact on their breastfeeding relationship. Aurora Ramazzotti breastfed her son for “a while,” but then “suddenly it stopped working.” She believes it also had something to do with her cesarean section: “I got help at night because I had a cesarean section, which was very painful. So I wanted someone to give him milk at night. I then started pumping, but it At some point nothing came.”
The daughter of Michelle Hunziker and Eros Ramazzotti also felt the social pressure that lies on new mothers. A vaginal birth and breastfeeding are seen by many as the best thing for the child.
Mothers like Ramazzotti, for whom this was not possible, suffer as a result: “I couldn’t give birth naturally and I couldn’t breastfeed,” she said. She also suffered because of it.
But Aurora Ramazzotti doesn’t want to completely rule out having a sibling. Just a few days ago she did a question and answer session on Instagram, and someone also asked if she would like to have more children.
“Ask me that when my sleep deprivation has worn off,” she answered ironically, as the Swiss portal “Nau” reports.
