The production will be the first in a list made up of three other short films that combine the fanciful stories of Dahl, one of the most renowned children’s writers of the last century – with titles such as “Matilda” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”-, and the characteristic aesthetic of symmetries and color contrasts with which the director made a name for himself in the industry since his rise to fame with “Rushmore” (1998) and “The Eccentric Tenenbaums” (2001).
In that sense, despite not yet having defined release dates, versions of the stories will soon arrive on the Red N platform. “The Cisne”about a teenager who is tortured by two “bullies”; “The deratizer”, which follows a rodent exterminator and his unique methods of capturing the vermin; and “Venom,” centered on an English man in India who tries to be saved by a doctor and his partner after a poisonous snake falls asleep on him.
