This was announced yesterday. Horton, who began his career as a Vienna Boy Choir, was born on September 19, 1941 in Feldsberg (Czech Republic). His real name was Peter Müller.
He later said that his modest result in the Song Contest (penultimate place) did not cause him any sleepless nights. Highlights of his career included performances with greats such as Placido Domingo and David Bowie.
However, music alone was never enough for Horton, which is why he also worked as a presenter on German television with programs such as “Café intakt” (ARD) and “Horton’s Kleine Nachtmusik” (ZDF). In addition, dozens of albums were also accompanied by numerous books.
