The film “Taylor Swift: Eras Tour” could be a record in the United States

Specialized sites sponsor a box office debut of 100 million dollars, others less optimistic speak of 75 million. Even with a $75 million opening in the United States, it’s arguably a record-breaking debut for a concert film on the big screen, and it also surpasses the runs of some of the highest-grossing concert films, i.e. Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (US$65.2 M in 2008), Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (US$73 million in 2011) and the documentary film of the concert Michael Jackson This Is It (US$72 million in 2009).
