They were in a relationship for nine years, and after their separation, Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis publicly fought over custody of their two children. Now the ex-couple has found a solution for care and maintenance.
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have apparently reached an agreement on custody issues. Court documents available to the British show that the ex-couple want to share custody of their two children, Otis and Daisy. The children will live with one parent each week. Sudeikis Wilde is also expected to pay $27,500 a month in maintenance. The estimated income of the “Ted Lasso” star serves as a basis. While Sudeikis is said to have earned around $10.5 million in 2023, Wilde’s income is $500,000. The agreement also stipulates that Sudeikis must cover 25 percent of Wilde’s child care costs in addition to child support payments.
As early as February 2023, the US celebrity portal “TMZ” reported, citing anonymous sources close to the ex-couple, that Sudeikis’ lawyer had turned to a New York judge to clarify child support issues. The court is said to have then scheduled a hearing date. Olivia Wilde was surprised by this, as both a New York and a California court had agreed to handle all custody matters in Los Angeles.

The ex-partners’ custody dispute became public when Wilde was presented with court documents live on stage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April 2022. She received a large yellow envelope with the words “personal and confidential” written on it. As the industry magazine reported, Sudeikis was said not to have known that Wilde would be served the papers in this public manner.

Wilde didn’t believe Sudeikis. In a later one, she accused him of wanting her ex-partner to “sabotage” her. The incident was “really vicious,” she said. In addition, her children suffered greatly.
Most recently, Wilde and Sudeikis appeared to have resolved their differences and resumed their friendly relationship as parents. According to the Daily Mail, they cheered on their nine-year-old son Otis at a soccer game in Los Angeles last weekend.
Wilde and Sudeikis had been a couple since 2011 and engaged since 2013. In November 2020, the two actors announced their separation.
