The Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers of Argentina (ACCA) today announced the series that will compete in the second edition of the Silver Condor Awards on October 9, with “The love after Love” and “Palermo Division” as the most nominated, with 20 mentions each.
“December 2001” with 17, “The end of love” with 16, “Barrabrava” with 14, “Ringo, glory and death” with 11 and “The kingdom 2” With 10, they are the other favorite productions to win the most awards at the gala that will take place at the CCK on the aforementioned date from 8 p.m.
In addition, during the ceremony, in which 28 statuettes will be awarded, a special award will be presented in commemoration of 40 years of democracy to a series that has stood out for its commitment to promoting democratic values and civic participation in our society, ACCA reported.
The Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers of Argentinafounded in 1942, also awards the same award to national cinema, being the oldest in the industry in Argentina.
Since 2022, the association has expanded its scope to include cinematographic quality series and units in its awards, “recognizing the growing importance and popularity of this format in contemporary audiovisual culture,” they added.
