For her son David Banda’s 18th birthday, the 65-year-old shares impressions of the exuberant celebration in the trendy location “The Fleur Room” in New York City.
Madonna can be seen again and again, alternating with other guests, twerking, dancing and finally toasting her son.
“You are growing into a truly remarkable person! We are all so proud of you! You shine like the brightest star!” writes Madonna in the text accompanying the party photos.
She also shares photos of the party on her Instagram story.
David Banda is Madonna’s adopted child, who the singer shares with ex-partner and director Guy Ritchie. Her younger children, 17-year-old Chifundo Mercy James and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere, were also at the lively party.
Just around a month and a half ago, the pop queen herself celebrated her 65th birthday with her children and posted a video of the celebration on Instagram. “It’s great to be alive,” she wrote at the time. The reason. At the end of June, the singer had to spend several days in the intensive care unit due to a serious bacterial infection.
